IMPRESSIONIST WATERCOLOR CLASSES AT OPUS NORTH VANCOUVER by ARTIST/INSTRUCTOR JANE SABORIO

Start Date: May 6, 2010
Fee $45.00 per person per session.

FEE INCLUDES ALL MATERIALS, HANDOUTS & INSTRUCTION & each of you will finish a quarter sheet original water color painted with Jane's unique limited palette flat brush technique working from photos or her originals.
Week one. Free flowing florals: poppies, irises, sunflowers, lilies hibiscus photographed recently in Mazatlan!
Week two. Mediterranean architectural images : Provence, Tuscany, Spain, Mexico from my travels or yours!!
Week three. Landscapes/waterscapes Lago di Como, Cannon Beach, Chesterton Beach, Porteau Cove
Week four. Still Life Pithoys, macetas, floreros, jarrones(large Mexican pots in beautiful earthtones)

Students may come weekly all spring & summer or attend single sessions

SATURDAY ACRYLIC
CLASSES

IMPRESSIONIST ACRYLIC CLASSES AT OPUS NORTH VANCOUVER by ARTIST/INSTRUCTOR JANE SABORIO

10:30am-1:30pm

Start Date: May 8, 2010 (4 sessions)
Fee $45.00 per person per session.

Fee includes instruction, handouts & some materials and each of you will finish an 8x10 wrapped canvas painted with Jane's unique 6 color palette & bright brushes sizes 10 & 12 plus some well worn 1/2" flat aquarelle brushes for finest work and occasional application of gesso for texture especially in architectural images, still life pottery & seascapes with rocky cliffs.
Week 1 will be florals
Week 2 architectural images.
Week 3 waterscapes/landscapes.
Week 4 still life.
Participants will work from Jane's photos or their own or Jane's original. Students will need to purchase or bring with them four of the six colors of Jane's palette: titanium white, naples yellow, red oxide & french ultramarine, & purchase one acrylic brush or bring with them #10 or #12 bright, if possible small china plate for a palette & a water container. Should a student wish to paint a larger size canvas he/she needs to purchase that himself/herself.
Students may attend every Saturday session through spring & summer or just a single session, each session is a complete unit.
